Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Monday demanded legal action against BJP Choudhary Lal Singh’s brother for using “derogatory language” against chief minister Mehbooba Mufti. A video of Choudhary Rajinder Singh hurling incentives against Mufti has gone viral on social networking websites. In the video, Singh is heard hurling incentives at Mufti while the crowd reciprocates.

Taking to micro blogging website, Omar said: “This is absolutely unacceptable language used against @MehboobaMufti & is unequivocally condemned with the request that @JmuKmrPolice file a FIR against this abusive individual”. Singh is a brother of BJP MLA Chowdhary Lal Singh, who was recently dropped from the state cabinet for participating in a rally organized by Hindu Ekta Manch outfit in support of accused in Kathua minor rape and murder case.
